Recently, I was invited to appear on Evan Ginzburg’s Legends TV. Legends TV is a weekly, internet-based talk show, similar to Jimmy Fallon, etc., that broadcasts live out of Madhouse TV studios in Deer Park, NY. Evan has guests from all walks of life on his show, including singers, wrestlers, authors and many more.
It’s always an honor to be asked to speak about what I do… My love for hip hop music and culture… The media outlets that I created… I always feel humble that someone thinks what I’m doing is worthy enough to spend their time on, just like I admire the artists and creatives I get to shed light on with my outlets Birthplace Magazine, The NY Hip Hop Report and The Manny Faces Show.
Also on this episode, the lovely and talented Bianca Ingram. Coming from a storied musical family, Bianca showed her stuff with a performance and interview full of style and charm. Her brother Kyle, also an artist, and director of her video for “Come Closer” was also on hand.
As for my interview, I spoke about the difference between hip hop and rap, New York’s thriving indie rap scene, and I shared a few hand-picked videos with Evan, Steve, Bianca, Kyle and the viewers, joints from Hasan Salaam, Homeboy Sandman, Angela Moyra and Run The Jewels.
All in all it was a great experience, and I appreciate the opportunity!
Check out Evan Ginzburg’s Legends TV every Saturday live from 11:00am until 12:30pm!
